The Bali Botanical Garden houses more than 2,000 species of plants. The flowers and plants are acquired from different parts of the world. There are aquatic plants, orchids, ferns, cacti, roses and even medicinal plants. If you like nature, this is a place not to be missed

3. The Tanah Lot Temple

The Tanah Lot Temple is one of the most important sea temples in Bali. It is built on top of a large rock which is surrounded by the sea.

There are poisonous snakes at the base of the rocky island and it is believed that they are there to guard against intruders and evil spirits. The best time to see the temple is probably in the late afternoon when the temple is in silhouette.

4. Gitgit Waterfall

The 40 meter high Gitgit Waterfall is located about 10 km south of Singaraja. Many locals and tourists swim there and it can be very refreshing. The surrounding scenery is very natural and beautiful and photo taking would be good if you like photography and it is certainly worth taking a few shots with your love ones there.
